Scott was born and raised in Powell, WY. Scott attended Rocky Mountain College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science, and the University of Utah, where he earned a Master of Science in information systems. Following graduate studies, Scott moved to Cody, WY.
He is currently employed as Information Technology Director for the City of Cody and has experience working in local government and higher education settings.
Scott serves as a board director for a number of local nonprofit organizations, including NextGen Park County, the Cody Lions Club, and the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
Scott is skilled in: system design and architecture; network administration; database administration; information security, data assurance, and digital forensics; and project management.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys fly fishing and playing tennis. He and his wife, Elena, have a rambunctious Airedale terrier, Sudo, and a mischievous beagle, Teddy.
